Vice has a sarcastic personality, that may come off as rude, but his comments are often the unsaid truths that people try to cover up. He’s very observant about people around him, and listens closely to the other party when having an argument to see if he can find a fallacy or to use their words against them. He often waits until the best opportunity to make his comments in order to end a conversation quickly causing him to become quite cunning. He likes seeing people stumble over their words when he catches them, and usually takes that as an opportunity to leave. Despite his vitriolic ways, he has an infectious personality that makes people not mind being with him. On a related note, he himself doesn’t mind being in the company of others as long as they don’t touch him because he’s not used to the feeling warm things.

When doing research, he tends to zone out into his own little world. If someone tries to talk to him when he’s among his plants or research, chances are he won’t hear them. If someone raises enough noise to get his attention, he will respond, but only to say something along the lines of “Would you please shut up.”

On the rare chance that he does like you quite a bit, Vice is very clingy, and he’ll let you know. He’ll do his best to make the other person happy, and he tends to drop his sarcastic tone, and gets very talkative by saying whatever is on his mind, which in some cases leads to an onslaught of complaints. He gets jealous easily and hates seeing the person he likes being nice to other people, and often tries his best to get in the way.

Making Poisons: As a result of Vice’s research, he is able to make poisons ranging from regular poisons, to ones that burn at the touch, or virus-like poisons that spread slowly and limit the movement of his opponent.

Poison Immunity: Due to Vice’s interests in poisons, and his use of it almost everyday via research and battle, he has developed an immunity to poison making him able to both consume and touch poison without harm. He also has been able to build up this resistance because of his past when he used poisons to catch his food, which he still does on occasion for old times’ sake.

Vice has an offensive style that utilizes swift movements and throwing poison needles. He doesn’t like coming into contact with people, so he usually does his best to stay away from his opponent, though on rare occasions he will deliver a kick or two when he has no other choice (which is usually when he runs out of needles). Although he doesn’t like being cornered himself, he likes cornering others, and tries to do so in most battles. In battle, he is very calculating and takes into consideration the strength of the wind and angling of walls in order to maximize the accuracy of his throwing since he has a limited supply of needles.

Vice knows nothing about his biological parents, nor does he know if he has any living relatives because when he was a small child, he was abandoned in the woods and found by a traveling merchant who sold a variety of household poisons to get rid of pests. He spent his childhood happily like this with his new father as they traveled from town to town. The majority of the time, Vice and his father traveled under the protection of the forest, and Vice came to appreciate the peace and serenity found there. He loved observing plants, and would often pick them and give them funny little names to remember them by. Sometimes, to imitate his father, he would mix some plants with water and pretend it was a poison that repelled bad luck. On occasion, Vice would secretly take a few vials of his father’s poison in order to study, and make mental notes to himself as he watched his father create them.

A few weeks before Vice turned eleven, his father was attacked by thieves shortly after leaving a large city. Vice ran back to town during the attack in order to alert others and get help, but the busy civilians didn’t listen to Vice’s pleas. When he eventually returned to where he left his father, he found his father dead among multiple broken bottles of poison, and one of the thieves, who was still slightly conscious on the ground, but was slowly dying from the poisonous fumes.

After the death of his father, Vice spent a few weeks in the forest hunting woodland animals with the vials of poison he found in his father’s pack that were not broken before eventually returning back to the city where he tried to get help in order to see if he could live there. He spent a few days trying to find a job, but no one wanted a “filthy” orphan, so he turned to his poison making in order to survive. Through the studies he did of his father’s poisons, he was able to concoct his own, and he went around selling them like his father. However, he didn’t have much luck because nobody believed that a child could make such deadly things.

One day, Vice was approached by some members of the La Dinastia dei Valentino group because they were interested in his poisons. Unlike others, they called him a genius for his ability to create poisons of different abilities, and invited him to join their society to continue his studies. Vice, who has long lost belief in the kindness of others, including the other four societies, found it in La Dinastia dei Valentino and gladly joined to supply the society with his beloved poisons.

Vice carries extra vials of poison and his needles in the pouch on his side, though he mainly uses the vial of poison on his leg during battle. In his bag he also carries a book that he keeps pressed plants and notes in and a picture of his father.
